There are few places in our community that have the power to bring people together quite like the historic FLATO Academy Theatre, located in the heart of downtown Lindsay.
Whether it's a sold-out concert with one of your favourite artists, a spectacular musical production, a captivating stage play, a local dance performance, a night of comedy, or discovering emerging local talent at an open mic, the FLATO Academy Theatre has long been a place where people come together to be entertained, inspired, and connected. It's where unforgettable experiences are shared and lasting memories are made. To continue creating those experiences, we believe the most important voices to hear are yours.
That's why we're launching Academy Listens: A short survey that will help us better understand what our community values, what experiences you’d like to see, and how the theatre can continue to serve as a cultural anchor for years to come. Whether you've attended dozens of performances, visited the theatre only a few times, or have never stepped through our doors, your voice matters.
Until August 13th, we’re inviting residents from across Kawartha Lakes and surrounding communities to complete a short, two-minute survey. The insights we gather will help inform future programming, community initiatives, and the experiences we create both on and off our stage. Everyone who completes the survey can enter a draw to win a one-year Front Row Membership, valued at $300.
The Academy exists to serve our community, and we believe its future should be shaped by the community it serves.
