A New Era of Sound
As part of our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences, 2024 marked a major upgrade to our audio infrastructure.
In collaboration with Mac Show Systems, we installed a cutting-edge Adamson PA system, proudly supporting a world-class Canadian brand located in Port Perry. This new system replaces our trusted but aging Electro-Voice setup from the early 2000s, and brings the theatre into the future of live sound.
The new audio system includes:
8 IS7 line array speakers per side, powered by Lab Gruppen D120 amps
5 IS5c front fills along the stage edge (Lab Gruppen D40)
2 IS7p balcony fills and 2 IS219 subwoofers integrated into the stage (Lab Gruppen D200)
*All precisely aligned and calibrated for optimal phase coherence and sound distribution
We’ve also enhanced the on-stage experience for performers with:
8 Adamson M12 monitor wedges (65° x 65° dispersion)
Powered by Lab Gruppen D80 amplifiers, with room to grow
To tie everything together, the entire system is controlled through a QSYS digital audio network, offering unmatched flexibility, fast reconfiguration, and seamless integration for touring productions.
This upgrade reflects the dedication of our skilled sound and lighting technicians, whose expertise ensures that every note is heard clearly — and every show resonates with impact.
